Right before the congress begins, mingle with other colleagues and break the ice! Come and sample a variety of
culinary delights from around Busan. Entrance fee is included in the registration fee.
Situated right on the coast, the iconic Nurimaru APEC House is nestled on Dongbaek Island among a beautiful, natural landscape accented by dense camellia and pine, scenic walking paths, phenomenal vista points, and an old fashioned lighthouse.
Nurimaru combines both modern and traditional Korean architectural elements, with wooden floors and a roof which echoes the topography of Dongbaek Island itself.
The building
offers arresting views of Oryukdo Island, the Gwangan Diamond Bridge, as well as nearby Haeundae Beach and Dalmaji Hill. The Nurimaru APEC House was originally constructed as a meeting place for world leaders for the 2006 Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation Conference.
